    • The Terps' four All-ACC selections are a school record. Crystal Langhorne is Maryland's first four-time All-ACC honoree and one of just 10 in the history of the ACC to be named to the first team three times.
    Marissa Coleman's three-straight All-ACC selections makes her one of four Terrapins all-time to be named all-conference at least three times.
    • The Terps are one of two teams in NCAA history to have four players with 1,300 career points on the roster (along with 01-02 Connecticut). They are one of 12 known teams with four 1,000-point scorers.
    • The Terps have had at least one player with a double-double in 29 of their 34 games and lead the country with 46 team double-doubles.
    Crystal Langhorne and Kristi Toliver are finalists for the Naismith and Wooden Awards.

    No. 1-Seeded Terps Make Fifth-Straight NCAA 2nd Round Appearance
    • The Spokane Region's No. 1 seed, Maryland advances to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the fifth-straight year, a first in the history of the program. The Terps take on eighth-seeded Nebraska on Tuesday, March 25 at approximately 9:30 p.m. The Terrapins are undefeated at home so far this season, winning 20 games at Comcast Center, tied for the third-longest active home winning streak in the NCAA.
    • The Terps also host third-seeded Duke and sixth-seeded Arizona State at Comcast Center for the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. Both teams are looking to advance to the Sweet Sixteen in the Oklahoma City Regional.
    • It is the second time in four years the Terrapins host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament. The last time the event was held in Comcast Center was when this year's senior class were freshmen in 2005. Maryland's last loss to a non-conference team in College Park was to Ohio State in the second round of the 2005 tournament.
    • The first and second round games will be televised on ESPN or ESPN2. Pam Ward will be the play-by-play with Nancy Lieberman providing analysis. Holly Rowe will be on the sidelines.

    Frese Claims 200th Victory
    • Maryland head coach Brenda Frese won her 200th game on Sunday afternoon, claiming an 80-66 victory over Coppin State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Frese is in her ninth season as a head coach, making stops at Ball State and Minnesota, before landing in College Park in 2002-03.
    • Frese boasts a 200-83 mark making amazing turnarounds at all three programs. The 2002 Associated Press Coach of the Year, she has been at College Park for six seasons, recording a 143-54 mark on the Terrapin sideline.

    ACC in the NCAA Tournament
    • The ACC received the third-most number of NCAA Tournament selections, earning six bids. Only the Big East and the Big 12 garnered more bids with a tournament-high eight each. The SEC received five bids. • ACC teams have fared well so far in the tournament, going 5-1 in the first round.

    Langhorne's Reaches Another Milestone
    Crystal Langhorne has grabbed exactly 1,200 rebounds in her career, reaching the milestone in the NCAA Tournament first-round win vs. Coppin State. Only six other players in ACC history have gabbed as many rebounds. She is currently tied or sixth all-time in the league with Charlotte Smith.

    Home Sweet Home
    • Maryland has won a school-record 20 home games so far during this campaign, breaking the program mark set during the 2005-06 campaign. It ties the third-longest active streak in the NCAA. Hartford has the longest active win streak at 26.
    • Maryland finished the home season undefeated, winning 19 home victories. The 20th home win came in the first round of the NCAA Tournament and is believed to be an NCAA record. UNLV posted 21 wins at home in 1978-79, before the NCAA.

    Ungracious Hosts
    • Completing the non-conference schedule capturing the Terrapin Classic, Maryland has a 31-game home win streak against non-conference opponents.
    • The Terps' last non-conference loss at Comcast Center was to Ohio State in the second round of the 2005 NCAA Tournament. • Since moving to Comcast Center in 2002-03, the Terps have gone 50-4 in non-conference games. The four losses were to teams ranked in the top 25 at the time of the meeting.

    Terps vs. the Big 12
    • Maryland is 8-2 all-time vs. Big 12 teams, including a win this season over Oklahoma, 76-66, in the State Farm Tip-Off Classoc in Chapel Hill, N.C.
    • The Terps have faced three Big 12 teams in the NCAA Tournament, winning all three matchups. The last meeting against a Big 12 opponent in the tournament came in 2006 when the Terps defeated the then-defending national champions, Baylor, 82-63, in the Sweet 16 in Albuquerque, N.M. Other tournament wins over the Big 12 include Missouri in 1982 and Texas in 1989.

    Toliver Breaks ACC Assist Record
    • First team All-ACC performer Kristi Toliver broke the ACC's single-season assist record, a mark which had stood for 30 years. The record was perviously held by former Terrapin and Hall of Famer Tara Heiss. She had dished 249 assists during the 1977-78 campaign.
    • Toliver has handed out 255 assists so far this season.
