The Maryland women's water polo team closes out the regular season this weekend with three home games at the Eppley Recreation Center.
The Terps (19-11, 2-2) will face CWPA Conference opponent Princeton (15-9, 3-1) at 11:30 a.m. Saturday and finish out the day by facing the No. 11 Michigan Wolverines (24-9) at 6:00 p.m. The Maryland and Michigan game can be viewed on ACC Select.
Maryland ends the regular season at 9 a.m. Sunday when it plays league foe Bucknell (22-6, 3-1).
This weekend will go a long toward determining seeding for the conference tournament (April 19 at Bucknell) as Princeton and Bucknell currently sit atop the CWPA Southern Division standings, while the Terps are third.
In other action over the weekend at Eppley, George Washington, also a member of the CPWA Southern Division, will face Michigan at 1 p.m. Saturday and Bucknell takes on the Wolverines at 3 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is free to all five games over the weekend.
The Terps will look to their team leaders this weekend, including juniors Rachel Jordan and Elizabeth Hopkins who have headlined offensive attack this season with 47 and 43 goals, respectively.
Shannon Simerly (40 goals), Maggie Eicks (33) and Blaise Stanicic (29) have also made significant offensive contributions this year.
Maryland's defense has also been solid this season highlighted by goalkeepers Ashleigh Jobson and Anna Gossett. Jobson has recorded 199 saves on the season, while Gossett has 79.
