
"Fall Ball" Begins With Tryouts For Maryland Men's Lacrosse

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - For the Maryland men's lacrosse team the 2009 season begins on Monday, September 15, 2008 with the first day of fall practice.
For the Terps, "Fall Ball," as it is commonly referred to, begins with returnee and invited player tryouts. The Maryland coaching staff will be looking to trim its roster down to the final 48 student-athletes that will comprise the 2009 squad.
Open tryouts will be held within the next two weeks at a time yet to be determined. Further information will be posted on umterps.com when it becomes available.
