COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland football program will hold its annual Recruiting Celebration on Wednesday, Feb. 4.

The event, which is open to the public, will run from 5-8 p.m. at the Riggs Alumni Center on the University of Maryland campus.

Head coach Ralph Friedgen will present the 2009 recruiting class at 6:30 p.m., followed by a question and answer session. Fans who are unable to attend the event may e-mail questions to Friedgen. Questions may be submitted ahead of time or during the event.

The event is free to all members of the Maryland Gridiron Network (MGN) and Terrapin Club, as well as the University of Maryland student body. The cost is $20 to the general public. Hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be available from 5-8 p.m.

Following the Recruiting Celebration, there will be a reception (including a cash bar) for MGN members at the Maryland Club in the Alumni Center. That event runs from 8-10 p.m.
