The Terrapins improved to 48-12 all-time against the Demon Deacons. It was the Terps' seventh straight victory in the series.
The win was Maryland's fourth straight in ACC openers. The Terps also beat the Demon Deacons in last year's conference opener.
Maryland's 92 points were a season high.
Maryland got off to a fast start, scoring the first 20 points of the game, holding Wake Forest scoreless for the first 7 minutes, 1 second of the game.
Junior Demauria Liles, who entered the game third in the ACC in rebounding at 8.1 per game, eclipsed her average in the first half alone, grabbing 11 boards.
Liles finished with a career-high 13 rebounds.
Sophomore Marah Strickland moved into eighth place in school history in made 3-pointers, knocking down two triples to pass Chrissy Fisher.
Strickland also scored in double figures for the fourth straight time since missing the Old Dominion game.
Senior Kristi Toliver moved into eighth place in ACC history in made 3-pointers, knocking down four to pass North Carolina's Nikki Teasley. The four 3s tied a season high.
Toliver finished with a game-high 22 points. It was her third straight 20-point game and sixth of the season. She also added five assists with no turnovers.
Redshirt freshman Anjale Barrett set a season high with eight points.
