• The Terrapins improved to 48-12 all-time against the Demon Deacons. It was the Terps' seventh straight victory in the series.
• The win was Maryland's fourth straight in ACC openers. The Terps also beat the Demon Deacons in last year's conference opener.

• Strickland also scored in double figures for the fourth straight time since missing the Old Dominion game.
• Senior Kristi Toliver moved into eighth place in ACC history in made 3-pointers, knocking down four to pass North Carolina's Nikki Teasley. The four 3s tied a season high.
• Toliver finished with a game-high 22 points. It was her third straight 20-point game and sixth of the season. She also added five assists with no turnovers.
• Redshirt freshman Anjale Barrett set a season high with eight points.
