COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland's women's basketball game Sunday, Dec. 27 against Stony Brook at Comcast Center has been changed from a 4:30 p.m. tip time to a 6 p.m. start, it was announced Monday.

The men's basketball team is playing Florida Atlantic at 2 p.m. Dec. 27. The start time of the women's game has been moved back 90 minutes to better accommodate traffic, parking and other game-day logistics for women's basketball fans.

The matchup with Stony Brook is the opening contest of the 2009 Terrapin Classic. Stony Brook will face UNC Wilmington Monday, Dec. 28 at 4 p.m. and the Terps will face UNC Wilmington Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 7 p.m.

Women's basketball season tickets are on sale now and available through the Terrapin Ticket Office online or by calling 800-IM-A-TERP.
