The University of Maryland women's basketball team is ranked 21st in the Preseason ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll, it was announced Wednesday.
The Terrapins received 209 votes in the poll to receive a preseason ranking for the sixth consecutive year.
Maryland received 114 votes in the Preseason Associated Press Poll, falling just short of a top-25 ranking. The Terps received the 27th-most votes in the AP Poll.
The Terps are one of five Atlantic Coast Conference teams ranked in the Coaches' Poll.
