TOLIVER NEARLY TOPS HERSELF

Kristi Toliver, who tallied 27 points (23 in the first half alone) Sunday against Dartmouth, appeared to be on her way to breaking the Maryland NCAA single-game points record in consecutive games. The point guard scored a career-high 35 points against Stanford in last season's Elite Eight, besting Crystal Langhorne's former school tournament-record of 34.

Toliver now averages 17.2 points a game in her illustrious NCAA Tournament career (13 games).

THE STREAKS

Maryland moves its home winning streak to 35 games following Sunday's win over the Big Green.

Head coach Brenda Frese is now 13-4 in the NCAA Tournament in six appearances at Maryland.

DOUBLING UP

Kristi Toliver recorded her third-straight 20-point outing to tie a season-high after registering 27 points in Sunday's win against Dartmouth. The senior netted 24 in the Terps' win over Duke to capture the 2009 ACC Championship before putting up 25 in the semifinals against North Carolina a day earlier.

Classmate Marissa Coleman was one point shy of her fourth career double-double in the NCAA Tournament on Sunday, finishing with nine points and a game-high 13 rebounds.

The Maryland defense held Dartmouth to a poor shooting performance in Sunday's first-round game and in the process set several opponent-low NCAA Tournament records in Terrapin history.

MOVING ON UP

Marissa Coleman and Kristi Toliver both appeared in their 13th career NCAA Tournament game on Sunday, lifting them to third all-time in school history along with Jade Perry. With an appearance in Tuesday's second-round game versus Utah, the tandem will tie former teammates Crystal Langhorne and Ashleigh Newman for first in school history with 14 NCAA Tournament games played.

Coleman tied Newman for the Maryland all-time games played record of 141.

Coleman moved past Duke's Monique Currie (2002-06) into 12th place on the ACC all-time scoring list with 2,127 career points. She is nine points shy of moving into the ACC's career top-10 in scoring.

Coleman, 11th on the ACC's career rebounding chart, posted her 1,100th career rebound on Sunday. She is six rebounds shy of moving into the ACC's top-10 in the category.

Toliver now boasts 223 points and 84 field goals made for the Terps in the NCAA Tournament, short of Langhorne for the top spot by 53 and 26, respectively, in Maryland history

Toliver, Maryland's all-time leader in 3-point field goals and third in ACC annals with 292, is eight treys shy of No. 300.

EVERYBODY NOW
Everyone on the Maryland roster that touched the floor Sunday landed on the scoreboard with points coming from all angles in a total team effort against the Big Green.

FIRST POINTS IN THE DANCE
Lynetta Kizer, Demauria Liles, Anjale Barrett, Yemi Oyefuwa, Kim Rodgers and Drey Mingo all tallied their first career points in the NCAA Tournament in Sunday's defeat of Dartmouth. Only Mingo had appeared in an NCAA Tournament before, playing limited minutes in all four of the Terrapins' games last season as a freshman.

TERRAPIN TOURNEY TIME
Maryland, which is in its 18th NCAA Tournament appearance, is now 25-16 in the Big Dance. The Terps have advanced to at least the second round in the last six NCAA Tournaments.

CHARITY LOVE
After going a perfect 2-for-2 from the free-throw line on Sunday, senior Kristi Toliver has now missed a mere four free throws in her last 59 charity chances (55-for-59, 93.2 pct), stemming back to the Terps' win at Florida State on Feb. 2. Sunday's game signified the 12th time this season that Toliver has been perfect from the line.
