Terps' Drey Mingo to Transfer

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Maryland women's basketball team announced that sophomore forward Drey Mingo (Atlanta, Ga.) has decided to transfer to seek more playing time.
"Drey is a terrific young lady who we have enjoyed having in our program the past two years," Maryland head coach Brenda Frese said. "We understand her desire to get on the floor and contribute. We wish her every future success. Drey will always be a part of our family here at Maryland."
Mingo appeared in 33 games as a sophomore in 2008-09, averaging 3.7 points and 2.1 rebounds per contest.
