WASHINGTON, D.C. -
The national champion Maryland men's soccer team will battle Wake Forest on Friday as part of an exciting day of soccer for the Kicks Against Breast Cancer campaign at RFK Stadium.
The Terps will take on the Demon Deacons in a spring match-up between the past two national champions at 4 pm., prior to a MLS showdown between D.C. United and the New England Revolution at 7 p.m.
Following the highly-anticipated rematch between ACC rivals Maryland and Wake Forest, fans can watch D.C. United and former Maryland greats Rodney Wallace and Marc Burch take on alumnus Taylor Twellman and the New England Revolution.
At halftime of the MLS match, D.C. United will honor the Terps, who captured their second national title in four seasons in December.
Tickets for the doubleheader are $20, 30% off the regular price. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Howard County General Hospital's Claudia Mayer Cancer Resource Center in Columbia, MD, a 501c3 non-profit organization supporting individual's affected by cancer.
