GREENSBORO, N.C. -
Jessica Hollandsworth's 3-over round of 74 on Sunday left her at 10-over for the ACC Championships, good for a tenth place tie as the Maryland women's golf team finished seventh at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.
Hollandsworth, who shot 74-75-74--223 on the week, finished nine strokes off the pace set by Natalie Sheary of Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons ended up taking the title.
Senior Lara Peffley shot an 83 on Sunday to finish 27th overall with a combined total of 240. Alexis Holmes fired a 78, leaving her in 28th place just a stroke behind Peffley.
Right behind them was Kerri Connolly, whose round of 76 on Sunday left her tied for 29th with a combined 242.
Hilary Lawson carded a 78 on Sunday to finish at 251, tied for 37th.
