Results Through Day One

CORAL GABLES, Fla. - After the first day at Canes & Cardinal Classic, Jessica Hollandsworth once again finds herself near the top of a tournament leaderboard as her first two rounds resulted in a 4-over par 148. Tied for fifth place, Hollandsworth is just four strokes off the pace. Her score leads the Terrapins, who are in eleventh place overall.

Hollandsworth shot the two lowest rounds of the day for the Terps, opening with a 1-over par 73 and following that with a 3-over 75. Following her are Hilary Lawson and Lauren Varnas, who sit tied for 42nd with combined totals of 159.

Kerri Connolly and Alexis Holmes each showed improvement on their second rounds of the day, lowering their scores by two strokes. Connolly followed her first-round 82 with a second-round 80, while Holmes shot 83 and 81.

The team is back in action Tuesday for the third round.
