COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
Two more former Maryland Terrapins signed NFL free-agent contracts Monday.
DL Dean Muhtadi and OL Dane Randolph both inked deals with the Green Bay Packers, according to the team's Web site.
Muhtadi was a regular contributor as a junior and senior, playing tackle and end. He saw action in 19 career games, including three starts, in his two seasons with the Terps. The native of Alexandria, Va., transferred from Christopher Newport University after the 2005 season and sat out 2006.
Randolph, a native of Columbia, Md., was a durable offensive lineman who started most of his final two seasons at right tackle. He played in 41 career games, including 24 starts, all at right tackle.
As many as 13 players from last season's Maryland football team will have a shot at making an NFL roster this summer.
The Terps had an Atlantic Coast Conference-high five players drafted last month and eight more sign as free agents.
WR Darrius Heyward-Bey was selected seventh overall by the Oakland Raiders. CB Kevin Barnes (third round - Washington Redskins), LB Moise Fokou (seventh round - Philadelphia Eagles), OL Jaimie Thomas (seventh round - Indianapolis Colts) and TE Dan Gronkowski (seventh round - Detroit Lions) were also picked.
LB Chase Bullock (Arizona Cardinals), OL Scott Burley (Washington Redskins), DL Jeremy Navarre (Jacksonville Jaguars), LB Dave Philistin (Seattle Seahawks), OL Edwin Williams (Washington Redskins) and WR Isaiah Williams (Baltimore Ravens) signed free-agent contracts after the draft.
In other news, DB Jeff Allen (Detroit Lions) and LB Trey Covington (New York Jets) each had tryouts over the weekend, but were not offered contracts.
