Maryland Wrestling Camps Begin Next Week

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Kerry McCoy's University of Maryland Wrestling Camps begin next week, starting with the Beginner Camp, which runs Monday through Friday. The Beginner Camps will be followed by four additional camps in the following weeks.
The Team Camp is scheduled for June 28-July 1 and the Technique Camp and Intensive Camp run July 5-8. The final camp, the "Hell in a Shell Camp," is scheduled for July 8-11.
The various camps are open to those ages 5-18, depending on the camp. Other than the Beginner Camp, which is a commuter-only camp, all additional camps are open to commuters and those who wish to stay overnight.
McCoy, assistant coaches Todd Beckerman, Jason Powell and James Yonushonis comprise the staff and current Terps wrestlers will be on hand to help instruct campers, as well.
