Dansky Added to Men's Soccer Incoming Class

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's soccer program has made another addition to its 2009 signing class with the inking of Kevin Dansky, as announced by head coach Sasho Cirovski this week.
Dansky, a forward from Potomac, Md., joins Jordan Cyrus, Taylor Kemp, Jake Pace, Widner Saint Cyr, John Stertzer, Paul Torres, London Woodberry and Norris Ethan White, who all signed National Letters of Intent to play for Maryland beginning this fall. One additional player, Olivier Lacoste-Lebuis, enrolled with the Terps this spring.
The reigning national champion Terps open up the 2009 campaign with a match against UCLA on Sept. 4 at 8 p.m. at Ludwig Field.

Potomac, Md. 5'9" - 158 Churchill High School Before Maryland: Three-year letterwinner at Churchill High School...squad lost only eight games in his three seasons at Churchill...scored 52 goals for the Bulldogs...Washington Post First Team All-Met...All-County Player of the Year and first team selection...First Team All-State...NSCAA All-South pick...Washington Post Extra Player of the Year and first team pick...Churchill was Montgomery County champions...also played for coach Bryan Davis at Potomac Academy.
Personal: Full name is Kevin Anders Dansky...son of Claudio and Mirta Dansky....born April 22, 1991...has one older sister, Dominique, who graduated from Maryland in 2008...volunteers at local community center...chose Maryland because it is a great school academically and has an amazing soccer program.
