'Lunch with the Fridge' Set for Friday

Sept. 8, 2009

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland head coach Ralph Friedgen will hold his first `Lunch with the Fridge' event at noon Friday in the Young Dining Hall of the Gossett Team House.

The ninth-year head coach will preview this weekend's home opener with James Madison (6 p.m. Saturday) and update Terp fans on the season. The event will also serve as a Pep Rally with 'The Mighty Sound of Maryland' and the Terps Spirit Squad making appearances.

This year 'Lunch with the Fridge' replaces the ever-popular 'Breakfast with the Fridge' event.

Admission is free and lunch will be sponsored/presented by the Maryland Gridiron Network (MGN) and Buffalo Wild Wings. Lunch, which will be provided by Buffalo Wild Wings, will be free for the first 200 people.

The event is open to the public, but if you are not an MGN member you are encouraged you to join. New memberships will be accepted at the event.

There are two more 'Lunch with the Fridge' events scheduled - Friday, Oct. 16 and Friday, Nov. 13.
