COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's basketball team got their practice season underway this week. The Terps got a visit from new Athletics Director Kevin Anderson at Thursday's practice.
This is the first week of team practice for six new Terrapins - Sequoia Austin, Alyssa Thomas, Natasha Cloud, Whitney Bays, Alicia DeVaughn and Laurin Mincy. The Terp veterans helped the newcomers learn the ropes of practice.
New Athletics Director Kevin Anderson stopped by Thursday's practice to visit with the team before the season starts.
Maryland Madness has been set for Friday, Oct. 15. All fans are welcomes, admission is free and no tickets are needed. Click here for more information.
