The Terrapins have won three of the last five NCAA Championships (2005, 2006, 2008). North Carolina won the other two (2007, 2009).
Maryland's Jemma Buckley has a sister, Elly, that plays for Virginia.
SCOUTING THE BUCKEYES
The Terrapins own the all-time series over the Buckeyes 5-0. The two teams haven't met since 2007.
Maryland and Ohio State have never met in the NCAA Tournament.
This is the Buckeyes' first appearance in the NCAA Semifinals.
Ohio State head coach Anne Wilkinson and Maryland head coach Missy Meharg played together at Delaware in the mid-1980s.

O'Donnell broke the 100-assist mark against Louisville. She now has 108 career assists.

Head coach Missy Meharg became the sixth coach in NCAA Division I history to break the 400 win mark last on Oct. 12 at Michigan.
Her current record is 411-102-9, which gives her a winning percentage of .796, which is second among all NCAA Division I active coaches. Old Dominion's Beth Anders has a percentage of .802
HOME SWEET HOME
The Terps haven't lost a game at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex since Oct. 11, 2008 when Duke beat Maryland 3-2.

Missy Meharg was named Coach of the Year for the second straight year and sixth time in her career.
