
No. 21 Terrapins Will Host UDC In Exhibition

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's basketball team will welcome the University of the District of Columbia Firebirds for an exhibition game Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Comcast Center.
The Terrapins played host to Gallaudet earlier this week in their first preseason matchup. Maryland won 90-37 and was led by freshman Alyssa Thomas, who scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the win. Junior Lynetta Kizer and freshman Laurin Mincy each added 10 points. All 14 Terrapins saw action in the win.
Sunday's matchup will be the Firebirds' second preseason game of the season, as they scrimmaged Howard Wednesday night. UDC will open its season against Indiana (Pa.) Nov. 14.
Sunday's game will be broadcast live on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network. Fans can listen in on ESPN 1300 and on umterps.com. Gametracker live stats will also be available.
The regular season will begin Saturday, Nov. 13 at 5 p.m. when the Terps will play host to Monmouth at Comcast Center.
