NEW YORK - Maryland goalkeeper Zac MacMath has been named to the 2010 Soccer America Men's MVPs first team, as announced by the publication Thursday.

MacMath racked up a 0.64 goals against average as Maryland reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship for the third consecutive season. The St. Petersburg, Fla., native established a Terrapin program record for shutouts in a season with 15.

One of the youngest captains to ever wear the band in Maryland men's soccer history, MacMath was named Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player after leading the squad to its second league title in three years. He also earned conference first team honors for the second consecutive season.
