The holiday season is always one of giving and caring. The Maryland women's team shared their skills with an incredible group of individuals from the Special Olympics, helping them learn how to pass, dribble and shoot. They even played some full court basketball! The Terrapins tested out their own talents in the Atlantic Coast Conference home opener against Boston College and No. 6 Duke. Head Coach Brenda Frese discusses how she can see the young team evolving since the start of the season. The Terps also take some time out to celebrate the holidays with each other at Coach Frese's house and swap "Secret Santa" gifts.
This behind-the-scenes television show airs on Comcast Sports Net and chronicles the entire University of Maryland women's basketball season.
The players are the stars of the show and throughout the season, cameras follow the team on and off the court, with each episode told through the voices of the team. During its six-year run, viewers have been taken inside the team for memorable moments, including the run to the 2006 National Championship, the 2009 ACC Championship, Coach Frese's pregnancy, road trips and numerous exciting games.
