Maryland Men's Soccer Spring Schedule
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Maryland men's soccer team continued its competitive spring season Saturday with a pair of wins against Wake Forest and Campbell at BB&T Park.
The Terps topped league-rival Wake Forest, 1-0, courtesy of a goal from newcomer Patrick Mullins. Maryland moved on to drop Campbell, 2-0, with goals coming from Casey Townsend and Jake Pace. Townsend's game-winner came off an assist from fellow forward Jason Herrick.
D.C. United will be the Terps' next spring test when the Terps battle the MLS squad Wednesday, April 14 at 10 a.m. The game against D.C. United, a team that features former Maryland products Rodney Wallace and Marc Burch, will be played at the RFK Auxiliary Field in Washington, D.C.
