Meet Notes 
COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
The Maryland gymnastics team, ranked No. 31 nationally, will head to Philadelphia Friday evening for a quad meet with Penn, Temple and Southern Connecticut State. The Terps (11-7) will take the mat at 7 p.m. in Penn's Hutchinson Gymnasium.
The Terrapins' meet against North Carolina that was cancelled due to snow has been rescheduled. The Terps and the Tar Heels will compete in College Park Tuesday, March 16 at 7 p.m. George Washington will also be competing.
Maryland is coming off of one of its most successful meets in recent years. The Terps earned their highest overall team score since 2005, 195.650, in a quad meet at Penn State last weekend.
Maryland is ranked No. 26 nationally in vault after tying its highest team vault score ever - 49.175. They are also No. 30 in beam. With their performance last weekend, the Terps stayed at No. 3 in the East Atlantic Gymnastics League standings. They are second in the league on vault and beam.
Freshman Ally Krikorian is second in the EAGL on vault with her average of 9.816. Junior Abigail Adams is tied for sixth with an average of 9.778 and is top ten on bars. Adams is tied for first on floor with an average of 9.753.
Senior Brandi George is tied for third in the conference on beam with an average of 9.759. Senior Talia Tossone is sixth.
The Terps opened the meet at Penn State on beam, earning their second-highest team score of the year with a 48.775. George earned a season-high 9.875 to finish fifth in the event. With strong scores all the way around, the beam performances set the tone for the rest of the meet.
Moving on to floor exercise, Adams earned her second 9.900 of the year, putting her at second in the event. Freshman Kesley Cofsky was fifth with a 9.850. The Terps earned a 49.050, their highest team floor score of the year. On bars, they earned a team score of 48.650, also a season-high for the team.
On vault, sophomore Kyra Phillips earned a 9.900 to finish third, while Krikorian earned a 9.850. Five Terps earned 9.800s or higher in the event.
George finished fifth in the all-around with a 39.200, the team's second-highest all-around score of the year. This was her first meet competing in the all-around of the year.
No. 17 Penn State won the quad meet with a 196.725, while No. 12 Michigan finished with a 196.525. The Terps were third and Bridgeport earned a team score of 193.200.
