Cleats for Bare Feet Flyer

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's soccer team, in conjunction with its spring game against Akron Sunday, is teaming up with Cleats for Bare Feet.

At the match Sunday, the Terps will be collecting boys and girls cleats, both new and used, for Cleats for Bare Feet, an organization that sends cleats to disadvantaged children across the globe. Game time for the match is 1 p.m. at Ludwig Field and is free of charge.

Contributions will help Cleats for Bare Feet accomplish its goal of donating over 1,000 pairs of cleats by July, 2010. Donating efforts are being spearheaded by Maryland men's basketball player David Pearman.
