
Ralph Friedgen Radio Show Debuts Wednesday

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Ralph Friedgen Radio Show, which airs weekly throughout the football season, debuts Wednesday.
The one-hour show starts at 8 p.m. on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network. Friedgen and sideline reporter Tim Strachan (subbing this week for Voice of the Terrapins Johnny Holliday) will be on the air taking phone calls from fans, previewing the season and breaking down the Navy game (Monday, Sept. 6).

Sam Hollenbach, who was the Terps quarterback the last time Maryland and Navy met, will join the show, as will Jack Scarbath, one of the all-time greats in school history. Scarbath is one of 10 consensus first team All-Americans in Maryland history. He quarterback the team in 1950 when Maryland and Navy played for the first time in Byrd Stadium.
As it did last year, the show will air before a live audience at two Outback Steakhouse locations.
Wednesday's show will take place at the Outback Steakhouse in Aspen Hill (13703 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, MD, 20906). Eight shows will air from this location and four from the Outback in Hyattsville, Md. (3500 East-West Highway).
