
#13 Maryland Plays Host to Boston College

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 13 Maryland women's basketball team will play host to Atlantic Coast Conference opponent Boston College Thursday night. The Terrapins (13-2, 0-1 ACC) and the Eagles (13-3, 0-1 ACC) will tip off at 7 p.m. in Comcast Center.

The Terrapins are coming off of a 71-64 loss at No. 3/3 Duke last Thursday. Maryland held the lead through much of the game, before falling in the final three minutes.
Junior Kim Rodgers led the Terrapins with her career-high 18 points. She hit three three's and scored eight straight points to extend a 14-0 run in the first half that put Maryland up by nine.
Sophomore Diandra Tchatchouang scored 14 points as she hit double figures for the fourth straight game. Freshman Alyssa Thomas notched her first career double-double with 11 points and a career-high 12 rebounds. Junior Anjale Barrett dished her career-best 10 assists.
Maryland moved to No. 13 in latest edition of both the Associated Press poll and the ESPN USA Today Top 25 Coaches poll this week.
After Thursday's game, the Terrapins will head south to play Clemson at 3 p.m. Sunday. Fans can watch Sunday's game on TigerCast.
