
#14/15 Maryland Heads to #3/3 Duke

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 14/15 Maryland women's basketball team will open Atlantic Coast Conference play Thursday night at No. 3/3 Duke. The Terrapins and the Blue Devils are set to tip off at 7 p.m. in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The game will be shown on the regional sports network, which consists of Comcast SportsNet, Fox Sports Net South, Fox Sports Net Florida, and New England Sports Network. Thursday's matchup will also be broadcast at WMUCSports.com.
The Terrapins are coming off of a 74-60 win at St. Joseph's Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia. With the win, Maryland extended its win streak to 12.
Freshman Alyssa Thomas led the Terrapins with her career-high 22 points. She was 8-for-9 from the free throw line.
Sophomore Diandra Tchatchouang notched her second double-double of the year with 12 points and a career-high 13 rebounds. Junior Lynetta Kizer notched 11 points and 10 boards, while Kim Rodgers also scored 10.
Maryland jumped to No. 14 in latest edition of the Associated Press poll and No. 15 in the ESPN USA Today Top 25 Coaches poll this week.
After Thursday's game, the Terrapins will play host to Boston College next Thursday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. in Comcast Center.
