COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland had 28 former players active in the NFL in week seven. Below are brief sketches on each player.
Lance Ball - RB - Denver Broncos
Rushed six times for 14 yards in the 18-15 overtime win against Miami on October 23. Through seven weeks, Ball has 15 carries for 54 yards and five receptions for 26 yards.
Kevin Barnes - DB - Washington Redskins
Tallied two tackles in a 33-20 loss to the Panthers on October 23. Has 13 tackles (11 solo) in six games played this season.
Bruce Campbell - OL - Oakland Raiders
Has seen action in four games this season, but has not played in the last two weeks.
Nolan Carroll - CB - Miami Dolphins
Saw action but did not record a stat against the Denver Broncos on October 23. Carroll has 16 tackles (12 solo) on the season.
Jon Condo - LS - Oakland Raiders
Has seen action in all seven games as the starting long snapper for the Raiders this season.
Phil Costa - OL - Dallas Cowboys
Started at center for the Cowboys on October 23. Part of a line that helped Demarco Murray rush for a franchise-record 253 yards as the Cowboys beat the St. Louis Rams 34-7.
Vernon Davis - TE - San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco was on its bye in week seven. In week six, Davis had two catches for eight yards versus the Detroit Lions in a 25-19 win. Davis has 24 receptions for 271 yards and three touchdowns on the season.
Moise Fokou - LB - Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles were on their bye in week seven. In week six, Fokou recorded three tackles against the Washington Redskins in a 20-13 win. Fokou has 17 tackles on the season.
Domonique Foxworth# - CB - Baltimore Ravens
Out for the season on the Injured Reserve.
Jared Gaither - OT - Kansas City Chiefs
Played in a reserve role on October 23 against Oakland. Has played in every game this season except the opener against Buffalo.
Dan Gronkowski - TE - New England Patriots
New England was on its bye in week seven. On the year, Gronkowski has played in three games with one start. He has yet to record a catch.
E.J. Henderson - LB - Minnesota Vikings
Tallied three tackles in the loss to the Packers on October 23. Has 38 tackles on the season - good for third on the Vikings.
Erin Henderson - LB - Minnesota Vikings
Recorded five tackles in the loss to the Packers on October 23. Fourth on the Vikings with 36 tackles on the season.
Stephon Heyer - OL - Oakland Raiders
Saw action for the second time this season last week in the 28-0 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on October 23. Heyer has played in two games this season.
Darrius Heyward-Bey - WR - Oakland Raiders
Recorded five catches for 89 yards in the 28-0 loss to the Chiefs on October 23. Heyward-Bey has a career-high 27 receptions for 434 yards through only six games this season.
Shaun Hill - QB - Detroit Lions
The backup quarterback to Matthew Stafford, Hill has played in one game this year.
D'Qwell Jackson - LB - Cleveland Browns
Made four tackles (three solo) in the 6-3 win against the Seattle Seahawks on October 23. Jackson leads the Browns with 54 tackles (40 solo), along with 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble through week seven. His 54 tackles are the 14th most in the NFL.
Shawne Merriman - LB - Buffalo Bills
Sat out in week six against the New York Giants with an inflamed achilles. He was placed on the injured reserve list Tuesday, ending his season.
Adrian Moten - LB - Indianapolis Colts
Did not play in week seven against New Orleans. Moten has five tackles (three solo) on the season, seeing most of his time on special teams.
Nick Novak - PK - San Diego Chargers
Nailed all three extra points in the Chargers' 27-21 loss to the Jets on October 23. Novak is nine for nine on field goal attempts this season with a long of 51 yards.
Adam Podlesh - P - Chicago Bears
Punted six times for an average of 36.7 yards in the 24-18 win against the Bucs on October 23. Has punted 39 times this season in seven games for an average of 42.5 yards.
Da'Rel Scott - RB - New York Giants
The Giants were on their bye in week seven. Scott has played in three games this season and has one catch for four yards.
Torrey Smith - WR - Baltimore Ravens
Recorded three receptions for 32 yards in 12-7 loss to Jacksonville Monday night. Smith has 12 catches for 269 yards and three touchdowns through six games this season.
Randy Starks - DL - Miami Dophins
Recorded two solo tackles and a sack in the 18-15 overtime loss to the Denver Broncos on October 23. Starks has 15 tackles on the season - all solo.
Jaimie Thomas# - OG - Indianapolis Colts
Listed on the Injured Reserve with a back injury.
Edwin Williams - OL - Chicago Bears
Has seen action in six of seven games for the Bears this season. Saw backup duty in Chicago's 24-18 win over Tampa in week seven.
LaQuan Williams - WR - Baltimore Ravens
Did not record a reception in week seven, but has two catches for 18 yards on the season.
Madieu Williams - DB - San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco was on its bye in week seven. Williams played in all six games (three starts) this season and has four tackles.
Josh Wilson - DB - Washington Redskins
Recorded five tackles (four solo) in the 33-20 loss to the Panthers on October 23. Has 27 tackles (22 solo) in six starts this season.
Will Yeatman - TE - Miami Dolphins
Inactive against the Denver Broncos on October 23.
