COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's soccer team raised over $2,400 for the Young Survival Coalition through an auction in conjunction with its Power in Pink match earlier this month.
Not only did the Terps raise important monetary funds for YSC, they also raised awareness for breast cancer by wearing pink uniforms during their contest against Rutgers. Maryland also promoted early detection and warning signs through various outlets during the match.
The Young Survival Coalition is a premier global organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women who are diagnosed with breast cancer. YSC offers resources, connections and outreach so women feel supported, empowered and hopeful.
