COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's basketball team will welcome the Messiah College Falcons to College Park Tuesday at 7 p.m. for the Terps' first of two exhibition matches this year.

The Terrapins are ranked No. 11 in the Associated Press preseason poll. They return four of their five starters from last year's 24-8 team that went to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Sophomore Alyssa Thomas and senior Lynetta Kizer were named to the All-ACC Preseason Team and the Preseason Wooden Award Top 30 list earlier this month.

Messiah, a member of the Middle Atlantic Conference, is coming off of a 19-8 record last year and a Division III NCAA Tournament berth.
