
#10 Maryland Welcomes #11 Georgetown

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 10 Maryland women's basketball team will welcome No. 11 Georgetown to Comcast Center Sunday for a 2 p.m. cross-town matchup.
For tickets, log on to the Terrapin Ticket Office online at umterps.com or call 1-800-IM-A-TERP. Parking is free and open in the lots surrounding the Comcast Center.
The Terps-Hoyas game will be shown live on TerpsTV Premium, which is a subscription-based service that offers premium audio and video content. The service is available for an annual price of $79.95 or a monthly fee of $9.95.
The Terrapins cruised past Loyola, 84-46, Friday night in their season opener. Alyssa Thomas led all scorers with 20 points, including 14 in the first half, while freshman Brene Moseley added 17 in her Terrapin debut.
The Hoyas held off Longwood, 56-45, Friday night behind 13 points from Sugar Rodgers and 10 from Alexa Roche.
Maryland and Georgetown last met in the second round of the NCAA Tournament last March. The Hoyas beat the Terps, 79-57, at Comcast Center to advance to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen.
The Terrapins return four of five starters from last year's 24-8 team and are ranked tenth in the USA Today/ESPN Division I Top 25 Preseason Coaches' poll. They are No. 11 in the Associated Press rankings.
After Sunday's game, the Terrapins will play host to Towson Wednesday night at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available and the game will also be shown on TerpsTV Premium.
The Terps-Tigers game will be broadcast live on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network. It can be heard on CBS Radio, ESPN 980 (DC), WWXT 92.7 FM, WWXX 94.3 FM, and 930 MFMD in Frederick.
