COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The seventh season of the groundbreaking show, "Under the Shell" will premiere on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. on Comcast SportsNet. The show will document the eighth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team's season, as they have raced to a 5-0 record to start.
Under the Shell is a reality television series about the program, and was started by head coach Brenda Frese. "Under the Shell" takes you behind the scenes and shows you a day-in-the-life of women's basketball student-athletes and coaches.
Each episode of the TV show is archived at MarylandWomensBasketball.com. Other content not found in episodes is available on the site as well.
The program will air bi-weekly on Comcast SportsNet through the end of the Terrapins' season.
In addition to the original broadcasts, check your local listings for weekly re-broadcasts of the show.
This weekend, the Terrapins will play in Florida International's Thanksgiving Classic in Miami, Fla. They will play the tournament-host Golden Panthers Friday at 6 p.m. and CSU Bakersfield Saturday at 2 p.m. Live stats will be available and both games will be broadcast on FIUSports.com for a fee.
