COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The fifth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team will welcome Delaware State (2-5) to Comcast Center for a 7 p.m. game Thursday.
This is the Terps' first 9-0 start since the 2007-08 season when they started off 10-0. They started off the 2006-07 season with an 18-0 record.

Fans will be able to watch the Maryland-Delaware State game live on TerpsTV Premium, which is a subscription service that offers exclusive video and audio content. The service is available for an annual subscription price of $79.95 or a monthly subscription of $9.95 per month.
Terrapin junior Tianna Hawkins will play against her twin sister, Tierra, who is the Hornets' leading scorer and rebounder.
Maryland has outrebounded its opponents in all nine games this season for a rebounding margin of +19.4, which leads the NCAA. The Terps are also second in the country in field goal percentage, with their clip of .497. Hawkins is No. 2 in the NCAA with her field goal percentage of .691.
Maryland is ranked No. 5 in the latest Associated Press rankings and is back in the AP top five for the first time since it ended the 2008-09 season ranked No. 3. The Terps come in at No. 6 in the ESPN/USA Today Division I Top 25 Coaches' poll.
