•The Terps improve to 21-5 (7-4 ACC) while the Blue Devils drop to 23-3 (9-2 ACC) on the year.
•Maryland now leads Duke 38-37 in the all-time series.
•Tonight's Maryland win was its first over Duke since Mar. 8, 2009, when the Terps topped Duke 92-89 in overtime of the 2009 ACC Tournament.
•Maryland's 22-point win over Duke is the team's largest margin of victory over the Blue Devils since Jan. 16, 1993 (82-51 win).
•Maryland will look to grab its eighth conference win in Tallahassee on Sunday, Feb. 20 at 3 p.m. when the Terps take on the No. 15 Florida State Seminoles.

•Top-10 Bullies: For the second time in one season, Maryland has defeated a top-10 opponent by over 20 points. On Jan. 23, the Terps handled No. 10 North Carolina by 23 points in their 88-65 win.
•Key Run: After watching Duke go out to an early 7-0 lead, the Terps clawed back and claimed the 17-16 lead thanks to a Lynetta Kizer layup at the 5:34 mark. Up 19-17, Maryland surged ahead of the Blue Devils to close out the half on an 8-2 run.
•Upping the Ante: Immediately after Duke went on an 8-0 run to cut the Maryland lead to just one, the Terrapins hit their next four shots as they went on a 9-0 run to put the Terps up by 10, 48-38.
Individual Game Notes
•Junior Lynetta Kizer led the Terps with a game-high 17 points. The captain also recorded nine rebounds (four offensive), three steals and one assist. She now has 1,191 career points, passing Debbie Lytle (1980-83) for 22nd-best in school history.
•Freshman Alyssa Thomas recorded her sixth double-double of the season by scoring 15 points and bringing in a game-high 10 rebounds. The five-time ACC Rookie of the Week went 6 of 13 from the field and a perfect 3 of 3 from the free throw line.
•Sophomore Tianna Hawkins scored in double figures for the ninth time this season and 19th in her career by recording 10 points on an efficient 4 of 6 from the field. Hawkins also brought down four rebounds, giving her 399 career boards. •With five points tonight, junior Kim Rodgers is now just 10 away from 500 over her career. The Virginia Beach, Va., native also dished out five assists and recorded three steals.
