
Terps Announce 2011 Spring Schedule

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland men's soccer team has announced its 2011 spring schedule which boasts several noteworthy opponents including Virginia, Akron, and a pair of MLS clubs.
The Terps kick off the spring slate with a trio of 45-minute contests against UMBC, Virginia and VCU at the Sports Quests Field in Richmond March 5.
The squad heads back down to Virginia the next weekend for a match against the Richmond Kickers of the USL-1 on March 12 in the second annual Pro-Am Challenge at Ukrop Park. Tickets are very limited and can be purchased by clicking on the link above.
Maryland will trek to Ohio to face defending national champion Akron on April 2.
The Terps cap their spring schedule with a game against DC United at the RFK Auxiliary Fields April 10, the annual alumni game at Ludwig April 16 and an exhibition against the New York Red Bulls May 1 in Harrison, N.J.
