COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Week-three action for former Terps playing in the NFL was highlighted by Torrey Smith's three-touchdown performance for the Baltimore Ravens. Smith totaled five receptions for 152 yards in Baltimore's 37-7 win over the St. Louis Rams and became the first rookie in NFL history to catch touchdowns on his first three receptions in one game.
Below are brief synopsis' on each of the 28 former Terps active in week three.
Lance Ball - RB - Denver Broncos
Rushed once for seven yards and caught three passes for 11 yards in Denver's 17-14 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
Kevin Barnes - DB - Washington Redskins
Totaled three tackles, one interception and one pass defended in Washington's 18-16 loss to Dallas on Monday Night Football.
Bruce Campbell - OL - Oakland Raiders
Helped lead the way for Raiders running back Darren McFadden's 171-yard day on the ground, as the Raiders picked up a 34-24 win over the New York Jets.
Nolan Carroll - DB - Miami Dolphins
Totaled five tackles (four solo, one assisted) in a 17-16 loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Jon Condo - LS - Oakland Raiders
Active in Oakland's 34-24 win over the New York Jets.
Phil Costa - C - Dallas Cowboys
Started and helped the Cowboys total 375 yards of total offense in their 18-16 win over the Washington Redskins.
Vernon Davis - TE - San Francisco 49ers
Recorded a season-high eight catches for 114 yards in the 49ers' 13-8 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Moise Fokou - LB - Philadelphia Eagles
Recorded two tackles in the Eagles' 29-16 loss to the New York Giants.
Domonique Foxworth - DB - Baltimore Ravens
Did not see action in Baltimore's 37-7 win over St. Louis.
Jared Gaither - OL - Kansas City Chiefs
Active in Kansas City's 20-17 loss to the San Diego Chargers.
E.J Henderson - LB - Minnesota Vikings
Made a season-high 10 tackles (seven solo, three assisted) in a 26-23 overtime loss to the Detroit Lions.
Erin Henderson - LB - Minnesota Vikings
Recorded one tackle in the Vikings' 26-23 loss to the Lions.
Stephon Heyer - OL - Oakland Raiders
Did not see action in Oakland's 34-24 win over the Jets.
Darrius Heyward-Bey - WR - Oakland Raiders
Caught one pass for five yards in the Raiders 34-24 victory over the Jets.
Shaun Hill - QB - Detroit Lions
Did not see action in Detroit's 26-23 overtime win against the Minnesota Vikings.
D'Qwell Jackson - LB - Cleveland Browns
Recorded 11 tackles (six solo, five assisted), including a half a sack, in the Browns' 17-16 win over the Miami Dolphins. Jackson is tied for fourth in the NFL with 30 tackles on the year.
Shawne Merriman - LB - Buffalo Bills
Started in Buffalo's 34-31 win over the New England Patriots.
Adrian Moten - LB - Indianapolis Colts
Active in Indianapolis' 23-20 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Nick Novak - PK - San Diego Chargers
Made two field goals, one from 35 yards and the other from 41, to help the Chargers knock off Kansas City, 20-17.
Adam Podlesh - P - Chicago Bears
Averaged 42.6 yards on seven punts in the Bears' 27-17 loss to the Green Bay Packers. His season average of 44.6 ypp ranks third in the NFL.
Da'Rel Scott - RB - New York Giants
Did not see action in New York's 29-16 win over Philadelphia.
Torrey Smith - WR - Baltimore Ravens
Made five catches for 152 yards and three touchdowns in the Ravens' 37-7 victory over the St. Louis Rams. Smith caught touchdown passes of 74, 41 and 18 yards (all in the first quarter), his first three career NFL receptions. It was the first time in NFL history that a rookie has caught touchdowns on their first three career receptions in one game.
Randy Starks - DL - Miami Dolphins
Recorded two tackles in the Dolphin's 17-16 loss to the Browns.
Edwin Williams - OL - Chicago Bears
Active in Chicago's 27-17 loss to Green Bay.
LaQuan Williams - WR- Baltimore Ravens
Caught one pass for seven yards in the Ravens' 37-7 win over the Rams.
Madieu Williams - S - San Francisco 49ers
Recorded two tackles in the 49ers' 13-8 win over the Bengals.
Josh Wilson - DB - Washington Redskins
Started and recorded four tackles and four pass break ups in the Redskins' 18-16 loss to the Cowboys.
Will Yeatman - TE - Miami Dolphins
Did not see action in Miami's 17-16 loss to Cleveland.
