  • The ninth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team will play host to ACC opponent Boston College Thursday night after a week-long bye. The Terps (18-3, 5-3 ACC) and the Eagles (5-16, 0-8) will play at 7 p.m. in Comcast Center.

  • As part of the Get to Know Your Terps series, junior Tianna Hawkins and freshman Brene Moseley will be featured at Thursday's game.

  • For tickets to Thursday's matchup, log on to the Terrapin Ticket Office online at umterps.com or call 1-800-IM-A-TERP.

  • This will mark the 14th meeting between Maryland and Boston College. The Terrapins own the overall record, 11-2. The Terps and the Eagles split their two meetings last season. Boston College won 78-69 in College Park on Jan. 13, 2011 as the Terps shot just 42.9 percent from the foul line. Maryland won 78-69 at Boston College, 78-69, on Feb. 27, 2011 behind double-figure scoring from Anjale Barrett, Lynetta Kizer, Kim Rodgers and Alyssa Thomas.

  • With her 875 career rebounds, Kizer surpassed Laura Harper on the Terps' all-time career rebounding list last week. Kizer is now at No. 5 in the Maryland record books. With her 1,474 career points, she needs just 26 to break the 1,500-point mark. She is currently No. 11 on the Terps' all-time scoring list.

  • Thomas was named to the Wooden Award Midseason Top 20 list last weekend. She is one of four ACC players and six underclassmen to make the cut.
