  • Monday's matchup will mark the 63rd meeting between Maryland and Georgia Tech. The Terrapins own the overall record, 44-18. Of Maryland's 18 losses to Georgia Tech, nine have been by five points or less.

  • The Terps rallied from a 20-point deficit to top the Yellow Jackets, 77-74, on Jan. 6 in College Park. Maryland was down 56-36 with 17:39 to play, but Alyssa Thomas scored 18 of her 24 points in the final 18 minutes to bring the Terps back. She hit a jumper with 17 seconds left to give the Terrapins the lead for good. Laurin Mincy added 17 points, Alicia DeVaughn had her second career double-double with 11 rebounds and points, and Lynetta Kizer had 10 points. Recap | Box Score

  • Most recently, the Terps rolled past Boston College 86-44 and led 51-13 at halftime. Maryland closed the first half on a 38-3 run over the final 15 minutes of the half. Mincy and Brene Moseley each had 16, Thomas had 14 and Kizer had 12.

  • With her 880 career rebounds, Lynetta Kizer is now at No. 5 in the Maryland record books. With her 1,486 career points, she needs just 14 to break the 1,500-point mark. She is currently No. 11 on the Terps' all-time scoring list.

  • Tianna Hawkins and Alyssa Thomas recently broke the 800-point plateau with 804 and 808 career points, respectively.

  • The Terps slipped to No. 9 in the Associated Press poll and No. 10 in the ESPN/USA Today Division I Top 25 Coaches' poll this week.
