
Pro Timing Day Set for Wednesday

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - A number of former Maryland football players will work out for the professional scouts Wednesday on campus.
There will be 13 seniors from last season's team demonstrating their ability in a number of drills including the vertical jump, broad jump, bench press, 60-yard shuttle and 40-yard dash.

Offensive lineman Andrew Gonnella is still recovering from offseason knee surgery and will not be able to participate in the event.
Meggett has already been under the microscope with the pro scouts. He attended last month's NFL Combine in Indianapolis and played in the East-West Shrine Game which was held in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Chism attended the AstroTurf NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in Carson, Calif., but did not play due to an injury.
Pro Timing Day is closed to the general public.
