The Maryland gymnastics team is set to compete at the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Championships in Pittsburgh, Pa., Saturday, March 24 at 2 p.m. at the Fitzgerald Field House on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh. The Terps are seeking their first-ever EAGL title.

The Terps enter the meet as the fourth-rated team in the conference with a RQS of 194.645, but the squad has posted consecutive scores over 195 the past two meets including a season-high 195.550 in the regular season finale at Penn State.
Maryland's top RQS is on floor. The Terps rank second in the EAGL with a 49.010 and feature two of the top-3 performers in the league in sophomore Katy Dodds and junior Ally Krikorian. Dodds is the league's top-ranked gymnast on floor with a 9.875 RQS. The Gaithersburg, Md., native has scored a 9.875 or higher in 4 of the past 5 meets.
After scoring an all-time high 42.900 on vault at Penn State last weekend, the Terps rank third in the league with a 48.860 RQS. Krikorian is the top-rated gymnast on vault. The Costa Mesa, Calif., native scored a season-high 9.925 on Saturday and holds 9.885 RQS.
On bars, the Terps only trail NC State in the league rankings. Maryland's RQS is 48.385 led by sophomore Karen Tang who is second in the EAGL with a 9.845 RQS.
Last Time Out
Maryland tallied an all-time high 49.200 on vault while turning in a season-high performance for the third consecutive week with a 195.550 at No .12 Penn State.
The Terps took 4 of the top 6 spots on vault led by junior Ally Krikorian's season-high 9.925 to tie for second place. Sophomore Katy Dodds tied her season high (9.900) to take fourth and senior Kyra Phillips tallied a season-best 9.850 to place fifth.
Freshman Shannon Skockho set a career high on beam with a 9.800. Skochko beat her previous high by 0.50.
Honored Terp
Dodds was voted EAGL Gymnast of the Week on Tuesday for her performance on vault, bars and floor, Saturday at No. 12 Penn State. Dodds is the first Maryland gymnast to receive the weekly honor since Abigail Adams won the award on March 16, 2011.

Last season at George Washington, the Terps finished third with a 195.025.
Maryland's highest finish at the league championships is second. The Terps have placed second three times most recently in 2005.
