Second Round Results | Final Round Tee Times

Senior Jessica Hollandsworth carded a 2-over 74 Friday to pace the Maryland women's golf team at the NCAA East Regional on the par-72, 6,253-yard Blue Course at Penn State Golf Courses. After two rounds of play, the Terps are tied for 18th with a 610 (303-307).
Hollandsworth was the Terps low scorer on Friday. The Floyd, Va., native tallied birdies on No. 9 and No. 12 to get to even par. She finished with bogeys on No. 15 and No. 18 to close the round. Hollandsworth begins play Saturday tied for 47th with a 7-over 151 (77-74).
Freshman Juliet Vongphoumy fell back into a tie for 10th after carding a 6-over 78. Vongphoumy entered the round in second place after firing a 4-under 68 Thursday.
Junior Christine Shimel bounced back from an opening-round 80 to register the Terrapin's second-lowest score of the round. Shimel recovered from three consecutive bogeys on the front nine and picked up birdies on No. 9 and No. 17. She finished with a 4-over 76 and is tied for 84th.
Sophomore Emily Gimpel is tied for 92nd with a two-day total of 157 (78-79). Senior Lauren Varnas fired an 85 Friday after missing Thursday's opening round due to illness.
South Carolina leads second-place Alabama by seven strokes heading into the final round with a 6-over 582 (288-294). Texas A&M's Katerina Ruzickova continues to lead all players with a 4-under 140 (67-73).
The Terps tee off starting at 12:55 p.m. Saturday and are paired with Chattanooga and Northwestern. Live scoring is available through Golfstat.
