COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
Nearly 2,500 fans packed Ludwig Field to watch the U.S. Men's National Team training session Monday night in College Park.
The University of Maryland proudly played host to the MNT as they continue to make final preparations for an international friendly with Brazil at FedEx Field Wednesday.
Ludwig Field was crammed with soccer fans from all over the DMV, many sporting both Maryland and U.S. gear.
The 75-minute session also gave fans a chance to see former Maryland standouts Maurice Edu and Clarence Goodson.
For Goodson, an All-ACC pick for the Terps in 2003, it was a pleasure to be back at his former stomping grounds.
"On this field we had a lot of good wins, and a lot of good fun," Goodson said via the U.S. Soccer website. "I scored some good goals. We beat some really good opponents and won some championships so it was really nice."
Special thanks to Tony Quinn for providing photos of Monday's training session.
