Maryland Wrestling Camps

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Registration is now open for this summer's Kerry McCoy's Maryland Wrestling Camps! Four different camps of varying skill levels are available with commuter and overnight options as well.

Maryland Wrestling Camps are run by Kerry McCoy, head coach of the Maryland wrestling team. McCoy is a two-time United States Olympian, a four-time World Cup champion, a five-time United States national champion and a two-time NCAA champion.

There are four camps to choose from: a Beginner Camp which runs from June 18 through 22, a Team/Competition Camp which runs from June 24 through 27, a Technique Camp which runs from June 27 through 30 and the "Hell in the Shell" Intensive Training Camp which runs from June 24 through 30.

Below are details on all sessions. The Beginner Camp and "Hell in the Shell" Camp are held at the Comcast Center Wrestling Room, while the Technique and Training Camp is held at Cole Field House.

Beginner Camp
Learn the basic skills to begin wrestling.
June 18 - June 22, 2012 (Monday - Friday)
Commuter Only
Ages: 5-16
Cost: $150

Team/Competition Camp
Learn great technique and compete against other teams.
June 24 - June 27, 2012 (Sunday - Wednesday)
Ages: 14-18
Cost: $350 (Commuter), $450 (Overnight)

Technique Camp
Focus on learning great technique
June 27 - June 30, 2012 (Wednesday - Saturday)
Ages: 8-18
Cost: $355 (Commuter), $455 (Overnight)

"Hell in the Shell" Intensive Training Camp
Elite training at an intense level
June 24 - June 30, 2012 (Sunday - Saturday)
Ages: 14-18
Cost: $595 (Commuter), $695 (Overnight)
