
Terps Gear Up for Workouts, Camps

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's basketball staff and team members will spend time this summer preparing for the 2012-13 season and hosting players and coaches of all skill levels and ages for top-notch camps.
Participants in the Terps' camps will improve their skills under the directions of Brenda Frese and the rest of the Terrapin's coaching staff. Instructors will include experienced college, high school, and AAU coaches as well as current college players and alums.
The Terps' camp season starts this month with the Elite Camp June 21-22. Full camp schedule is below.

After a few weeks off to wrap up spring school work and take time with family and friends, some members of the Terrapin squad are back and ready to work this summer. Incoming freshmen Malina Howard and Chloe Pavlech have made their way onto campus for workouts and fellow rookie Tierney Pfirman will be in College Park later this month.
In the 2011-12 season, Frese and the Terps reached their fourth Elite Eight in her tenure and won the program's 10th ACC title. The Terrapins went 31-5 on the season and finished the year ranked No. 5 in the national polls.
