
Stertzer, Kemp Named CSN Preseason All-Americans

John Stertzer and Taylor Kemp were tabbed to the College Soccer News 2012 Preseason All-America Team late Monday night.
Stertzer, a first team pick, had a breakout campaign in 2011, netting NSCAA Third Team All-America honors after boasting a career-high 14 goals. The Oakton, Va., product, was also a First Team All-ACC selection. He tallied a squad-best five game-winners.
Kemp, who was a second team selection, is a three-year starter in Maryland's backline. The Highlands Ranch, Colo., native has started in all 66 games he's appeared in, aiding the Terps to an impressive 48-13-6 record.
Maryland, which was recently ranked third in TopDrawerSoccer.com's first poll of the season, battles Louisville at 7 p.m. on Sunday at Ludwig Field.
