COLLEGE PARK, Md. -
As the Maryland football began its second-to-final practice of preseason camp Friday morning, head coach Randy Edsall and the team were joined by two children, Marielle and Dylan, from Casey Cares Foundation.
Marielle and Dylan spent practice on the sidelines interacting with Maryland coaches and players, and ended practice by breaking the team huddle.
"Today was a great day for us," said head coach Randy Edsall. "Marielle and Dylan joined us from Casey Cares Foundation at practice and these two children taught us the true meaning of strength and courage."
Before Edsall addressed the media following practice, Dylan had a few words of advice for the reporters. "Keep it quick. I am hungry and want to go to lunch."
Marielle and Dylan then joined coach Edsall, his staff and players for post-practice lunch in Gossett Team House.
Casey Cares Foundation is dedicated to providing uplifting programs with a personal touch for critically ill children and their families. For more information on Casey Cares Foundation visit caseycaresfoundation.org.
