McCoy Voted to Board of Directors

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - University of Maryland wrestling head coach Kerry McCoy was voted to USA Wrestling Board of Directors as an at-large member on August 25 at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs, Colo., as part of the governing body's annual Board of Directors meeting.
McCoy is the only active Division I head wrestling coach on the Board of Directors.
During the meeting, the Board of Directors held its election for Board at Large positions and positions on certain Standing Committees, as well as for officers of the Board of Directors.
In addition, McCoy will serve on two standing committees. He was voted to the Executive Committee and Freestyle Sport Committee.
