COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Matchups with 16 teams that earned bids to 2012 postseason competition highlight the 2012-13 schedule of the Maryland women's basketball team, released Thursday. The Terps will play eight games against NCAA Tournament teams from last year.
Head coach Brenda Frese and the Terps will welcome Boston College, Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Miami North Carolina, NC State, Virginia and Wake Forest to Comcast Center in this upcoming season. They will face all of those teams on the road as well, except for Miami and NC State.
Due to the 18-game conference schedule, the Terrapins will also take road trips to Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech.
12 of Maryland's games will be televised, 11 of which will be ACC matchups. Eight of those 12 televised games will be shown on the ESPN family of networks. Three will be on the Regional Sports Network.

Maryland will have a short six-day window without a game to open February, then will host Boston College Feb. 3. That weekend, the Terps will play at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Feb. 8. Then, the Terrapins will take on Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Feb. 11 in an ESPN2-televised game.
The Terps will host Clemson on Feb. 14, then will play in Virginia's pink game on Feb. 17. After a trip to Boston College on Feb. 21, Maryland will return home to host Duke at Comcast Center on Feb. 24.
The Terrapins will close out February with a game at Florida State on Thursday, Feb. 28 and will end the regular season against Wake Forest on Sunday, March 3.
The 2013 ACC Tournament will be March 7-10 in Greensboro, N.C. The NCAA Tournament First and Second Rounds will be March 23-26, with NCAA Regionals taking place at select sites March 30-April 2. The 2013 Final Four will be held April 7-9 in New Orleans.
In the non-conference schedule released earlier this week, the Terrapins will hit the road for the annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge and will take on NCAA Tournament team Nebraska on Wednesday, Nov. 28 in Lincoln.
