On Mohap: The top returnee at second base … has the potential to put up big numbers offensively … a versatile player who can play all of the infield positions … had an outstanding fall campaign. 1999 season: Set the school record for most home runs in a game (three) and most RBI in a game (eight) against Coppin State on March 31 … had a career-high 13 multiple-hit games … carries a team-high four-game hitting streak into the 2000 season … went 2-for-5, scored three runs and drove home a run against Elon on Feb. 13 … went 2-for-5 against James Madison on March 2 … went 2-for-4 with a double against Clemson on March 19 … hit a grand slam against Coppin State on March 31, on the way to his record-setting performance … went 6-for-11 with four RBI and scored three runs in the series against NC State April 16-18 … smacked a three-run home run against George Washington April 20 … went 2-for-4 with an RBI against Florida State on May 8 … hit safely in all four games at the ACC Tournament May 18-21 and drove in three runs. 1998 season: Hit a career-high eight home runs … recorded seven multiple-hit games … went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI against Elon on Feb. 21 … smashed a three-run home run against Virginia Commonwealth on Feb. 28 … went 2-for-4 against James Madison on April 14 … recorded a career-high eight-game hitting streak April 22-May 2 … went 3-for-6 against UMES on April 22 … went 3-for-5 against UMBC on April 30, hitting two home runs and knocking in four runs … went 2-for-3 with an RBI against Richmond in May 4 … named to the ACC Honor Roll. 1997 season: A reserve in the infield … went 2-for-2 in the series against Virginia Commonwealth Feb. 27-28 … went 1-for-3 with a double against Towson March 12 … hit a pinch-hit double against Wake Forest April 19 … named to the ACC Honor Roll … named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the fall 1996 and spring 1997 semesters.
